Johnson Babalola (JB) is the Managing Partner of LexMarke LP. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1989, Johnson subsequently established his legal career in Canada, where he is recognized by the Law Society of Ontario as a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Refugee Law.
For more than two decades, his practice has focused substantially on Canadian immigration and refugee law, alongside workplace and related professional matters. Born and raised in Nigeria and professionally established across Nigeria and Canada, Johnson's career reflects his continuing engagement with legal practice, professional development, mentorship and cross-border issues.

He is also a former editor of ImmigrationNews, a publication focused on Canadian immigration and settlement matters.
Beyond legal practice, Johnson has a longstanding interest in mentorship, professional development, workplace issues, leadership, diversity and inclusion. He has mentored young and internationally trained lawyers and has participated in professional, training and community initiatives in Nigeria, Canada and internationally.
